Care Instructions from the inseam label should be followed in cleaning apparel. As fabric has not been chemically treated, shirt will shrink half a size if washed in hot water and on high heat. Please follow the care instructions.
Blirt, the manufacturer, use only 100% organic cotton that is processed with a non-chlorine bleach. Only low-impact, azo-free reactive dyes are used on their garments. Additionally, the state of the art dyeing unit has an on-site effluent treatment plant to help prevent toxic runoff. Blirt’s manufacturing process has been certified by SKAL of the Netherlands, the main international organic certifying agency.
Fair Trade Guarantee: Blirt’s garments are manufactured in India by a company that adheres to international standards of fair wages and work benefits. They employ absolutely no child labor. The company sources its cotton from two Indian organic cotton projects comprised of thousands of small and mid-sized farmers. These farmers are provided with management, training, funding and certification. The manufacturing unit in West Bengal, India employs over 200 people in its processing, quality control and packing divisions and has received a clean audit from Oxfam-Benelux and Amnesty International, UK.
