INGREDIENTS: Oryza Sativa (Rice) Flour, Santalum Album (Sandalwood) powder, Kaolin (White Clay), Santalum Album (Sandalwood) Oil, Canaga Odorata (Ylang Ylang) Flower Oil.
LABEL DIRECTIONS:Mix approximately 1 level teaspoon of product with enough water to form a loose paste. Gently apply paste to all parts of face and neck, allow to dry. Rinse off with cool or lukewarm water, pat dry. Follow with Sensatia toner and facial hydrate of choice. May alternately be mixed with fresh plain yogurt. To maintain products botanical integrity store in cool, dry place.

SPECIFIC TO THIS PRODUCT:Sensatia's Sandalwood Facial Masque contains a sophisticated blend of rice flour, ground sandalwood, French white clay and an intoxicatingly-sweet, yet-calming blend of East Indian Sandalwood and Ylang Ylang 1st essential oils.
Rice flour is a highly absorbent material from ground rice. It can both absorb moisture, and excess oil while helping to draw toxins from the skin. It is loaded with vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates and has a good neutral ph level.
French white clay and ground sandalwood are found in equal amounts in this product. The result is a product that is not drying and can be used by all skin types.
Ground sandalwood has been used by the Balinese as traditional medicine for centuries. It is ground with a little water into a terracotta dish to create a paste; the paste is used for many problems including skin irritations & acne, sprains, bruises, and as an antiseptic rubbed on a baby's body. Ground sandalwood leaves your skin feeling incredibly soft, smooth and silky.
French white clay is a powerful detoxifier with an extraordinary absorbing capacity. It acts like a magnet to draw out impurities from the body, while the essential minerals within the clay are released. The body absorbs those it needs to aid healing, thereby restoring health & vigor. French clay is selective in seeking out diseased tissue cells allowing healing to take place at an accelerated rate. White Clay also has anti-inflammatory properties effective in relieving muscular, arthritic or rheumatic pains by decongesting the affected area. Ylang Ylang essential oil is from a tropical tree which can reach a height of 100 feet (30m). The branches gracefully arch, bearing intensely fragrant, large tender yellow flowers that bloom constantly. Ylang Ylang is native to tropical Asia. The aroma is intensely sweet, heavy, jasmine-like, and floral. Its odour effect is warming and intoxicating. A toning blossom oil, ylang ylang 1st (made from the 1st pressing of the delicate flowers) can help balance sebaceous glands of either dry or oily skin, is delightfully fragrant, and when used regularly will help maintain healthy, balanced skin.
